tired...

where have i been?

to have missed this for so long...

with his pants down...

no, i have, i have. i've seen chris lowe dancing with his pants around his ankles. anyway, this song is a favorite.

me so tired...

so saturday i went out for a couple drinks. and i got me some totty. i was scared it was going to fall off if it didn't get some action. nice guy, almost too nice for a one night stand. it was 85° at 1am and as we were walking across the parking lot to our cars, he grabbed me. now it's not often i'm the grabbee, rather the grabber. pushed me up against a car, launched into this 'let me wrap myself around you' and planted a prize winner on the lips. i could hear some folks whistling in the distance and cheering. i felt like a slut. i felt like a star. and i didn't want it to stop.

not one for pda's at all really, but it made me realize a few things. as i grow older mature i am getting softer on the whole romance thing. the idea of walking down sidewalk, holding hands, not to make a 'statement' to the public seeng it, but more just walking through life, watching the sights and not speaking, but communicating in that one gesture of two hands clasped... well, it get's me in my soft spots.

bless.

and cannot deny...

i was thinking tonight about all the things we just remember without trying. things so obscure and yet they are floating around with all the chalky bits and oil in your head. here's what i mean...the color of that dress that shelly winters was wearing when she drowned in the poseidon adventure. see, you don't think about it, you didn't think you'd remember it. but you do. you do.

so all my nameless lovers,
i still remember you.
your were my shipmates,
you were my crew.
i laid down in darkness,
sometimes never wanting
to hear your name,
only wanting one small moment,
sometimes longer;
something to claim.
like hearing familiar music
something that makes you
smile
like remembering lyics
from teenage songs
and forgetting all the
time

did i tell you i don't write poetry?

i'm rambling. i am listening to phillip glass. i need to eat. i'll bother you, my secret reader, no longer.
