Patterns in the chaos

someone random and unknown to me said something last weekend. "i think you've forgotten your power." a few connecting 'coincidences' later and i am thinking there is something going on that i am not aware of. the end of the week will be a better place to look at it all from.

in other news... he only appears close-up for a second (actually 0.52 of a second) but i caught sight of it and capped it.

Who he? He is PJ from V.I.D.S. and he appears in the new Moby video for the song "New York New York". And in typical "tak drifts away into la-la-land to think about something tenuously connected to the current event" fashion here is where I got to thinking... a pattern in the chaos. A military man. Every guy I've been attracted to (and developed some sort of 'thing' with), from the age of 17 to present day, has either been army, navy, fire or police. They've all been unavailable, either because (pesky detail) they are straight or with someone else, they've all been quiet types, solid guys, nice guys, but with something running deep under the surface and they've all been 'attracted' to me and struggled with not knowing why.

Now living in my 3rd decade I am trying to work out what this says about me.

Ok, enough of the deep crap, the Moby song is worth checking out, not least for the fact that aforementioned "PJ" wears gold spandex at the end. I can do shallow along with the best of them.
